Health, reducing demand, the role of assistive technology and data sharing are all being discussed during this afternoon’s session.
Other topics on the agenda were domestic fire alarms and road safety.
As well as hearing from the fire service, delegates also heard from RoSPA and the Royal Society of Public Health.
As the importance of the health and prevention agenda continues to be high on the national agenda, Mark Cashin and Errol Taylor (RoSPA) looked at ways to reduce demand through early intervention.
Partnership working was also covered, and a focus on assisted technology and high risk accommodation.
Still to come: road safety updates and data sharing.
